What does Dr. Sloan treat?Depression, anxiety, stress, parenting issues, relationship issues, grief, life transitions and more. During your initial consultation, you and Dr. Sloan will determine if you are a good fit for this practice. If not, she will help refer you to another care provider.

What does Dr. Sloan not treat?If you are experiencing psychosis, symptoms of mania or bipolar disorder, or substance abuse, you will be more appropriately served in a practice that can provide more resources and wrap around services for your best care.

Who does Dr. Sloan treat?Adult men and women ages 18-65.

Does Dr. Sloan take insurance?Dr. Sloan is private pay only and is not empaneled with any insurance carriers. She is happy to print a superbill for you to apply for reimbursement from your insurance carrier. Dr. Sloan does not see Medicare patients at this time.

What forms of payment does Dr. Sloan take?We take credit cards or checks. Payment is due at the time of service.

What are your hours?Tuesday 9:00-6:00 Wednesday 9:00-6:00 Some Thursdays by request

How do I make an appointment?Fill out the information form on the Contact page and you will receive an email inviting you to Dr. Sloans's Patient Portal. This is a safe and private way to communicate with Dr. Sloan through her electronic medical record where we can exchange information, set appointments and process payments securely.

Does Dr. Sloan offer telehealth appointments?In general all appointments occur in person in Dr. Sloan's conveniently located office. She believes the best therapeutic relationships develop in person. However when difficulties arise such as illness or severe weather, Dr. Sloan may offer telehealth sessions for her established patients to maintain care.
